Throughout his career in PR agency leadership, Ken Jacobs witnessed firsthand the immense challenges executives and managers face: managing growth, navigating complexity, and leading people under constant pressure. Along the way, he came to an important realization: to lead effectively, he needed coaching himself. That experience transformed his perspective and fundamentally changed how he approached leadership. In 2007, Ken launched Jacobs Communications Consulting, providing strategic consulting and training for PR and communications agencies. While this work helped organizations improve performance and operations, the most meaningful part of his work was partnering directly with leaders as they worked through their toughest challenges and highest-stakes decisions. As his practice evolved, Ken expanded into executive coaching, earning multiple professional certifications and deepening his expertise in leadership development. He saw firsthand the power of coaching, on its own or combined with consulting, to create lasting change for leaders, teams, and organizations. Today, through Jacobs Consulting & Executive Coaching, Ken partners with public relations, corporate communications, advertising, and marketing leaders to help them lead with confidence, inspire their teams, and accelerate business success. His work is grounded in real agency leadership experience and informed by proven coaching frameworks that help leaders translate insight into action. Ken believes strong leadership is both learned and practiced. His goal is to help leaders become more inspired, inspiring, and effective and in doing so, empower their organizations to achieve their full potential. Ken brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in PR and communications agencies to his coaching work, paired with professional credentials including Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP). This combination of industry experience and coaching expertise allows him to understand the realities leaders face and support meaningful, measurable growth.
